2011 Best Sommelier in America Awards Gala

Andrew Bell, President of American Sommelier, along with Maguy LeCoze of Le Bernardin, 2011 American Sommelier Art of Service Award recipient, request the honor of your presence at the Gala dinner naming the Best Sommelier in America 2011.

The Awards Gala reception and dinner is the culmination of two days of intense competition between 30 of the nation's top Sommeliers and Wine Professionals. Candidates are judged by a panel of industry leaders and must demonstrate a mastery of blind tasting and table service, food & wine pairing acumen, and advanced theoretical knowledge. The title is considered by many to be among the most prestigious in the industry.

The inaugural American Sommelier Art of Service Award will be given to Chef Eric Ripert and Maguy LeCoze of Le Bernardin. The Award will be accepted by owner Maguy LeCoze.

There will be a silent auction benefiting City Harvest, Le Bernardin's charity of choice.
