The final round of competition will take place on Sunday, April 17. The field of 31 is narrowed to four finalists who will go head to head in a series of exams that test their blind tasting and service skills, food & wine pairing acumen, and advanced theoretical knowledge of wine. Candidates will progress one at a time through this Sommelier obstacle course in a mock dining room environment in front of a panel of industry leaders who will judge their performance and a gallery of spectators.
